This event will be held on the first floor of the LAVA building located at 4134 Lancaster Avenue (West Philly)
There is a musical/performance art group coming through town who work with DIY media and homemade instruments. They work out of an infoshop/zine library in North Hampton, MA called the Flywheel. They are called Fat Worm of Error. There will be other diverse and local music acts that open for the band.
The headlining act is Fat Worm of Error. There will be a DJ from a local west philly record store. Here is a link and a short bio on the band:
Fat Worm of Error reside is a the fertile Massachusetts Valley and there craft hectic compositions out of homemade and unforeseen instrumentation. The group has been preforming for over ten years. Their antics and stage costumes are legendary within the larger esoteric community. The latest release from the collective on Load records has received much acclaim. However, it scarcely resembles their live sound. Fat Worm of Error are unpredictable at best and rarely leave their local community in western mass. They also run the Puzzling Music Archive.
