LAVA’s bills are steep, we’ve estimated that on average our basic costs are some $600 a month, not including what we need to pay back folks who lent us money in the past for materials and construction costs. We’ve struggled trying benefits, panhandling, we’ve even thrown bills away in hopes they would just wither up and die.
